We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our founding board member, Babette Bryan Bach, who died peacefully on August 25, 2025. Widely admired for her warmth, hospitality, and collaborative spirit, Babette was also a nationally recognized champion in Elder Law, bringing her legal acumen and philanthropic heart to the Leonard & Judith Schwartzbaum Family Foundation from its inception. She was instrumental in establishing our robust governance framework and aligning our mission with tangible giving strategies, acting as a trusted advisor and elevating our philanthropic work with both rigor and compassion. Babette emphasized honoring the human story behind each gift, believing the true value was in the lives touched, and her spirit continues to guide us toward being a stronger, more compassionate foundation.
